Dan Mills will not require students to wear Standard School Attire (SSA) during the 2023-2024 school year, however, we do encourage our Dragons to dress for success. There are updates from last year on specific items of clothing, so please review carefully.

Bottoms: What to Wear

Jeans, pants, shorts, capri pants, skirts or skorts (any color acceptable)

What Not to Wear

Clothing with holes, pajama bottoms, lounge pants, leggings -unless underneath clothing

Tops: What to Wear

T-shirts, Polo shirts, sweatshirts, light jackets (Solid, striped, patterns), Dan Mills spirit wear, Hoodies (*Hoods may not be on head in the building!)

What Not to Wear

Violent, potentially disruptive words, graphics or illustrations. This includes clothing promoting any violent video games, TV shows, or movies.
Tank tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, sleeveless tops

Footwear: What to Wear

Tennis shoes are preferred for safety reasons. Shoes with a strap on the back are also permitted.

What Not to Wear

Flip flops, sandals, high heels, house shoes, slippers

*Hats/beanies will NOT be allowed to be worn in the building.
